New Installation: Frostburg, Maryland
We’re thrilled to unveil our latest public art installation, “Dig Deep.” The mixed-media mosaic mural is the signature artwork inside the new Education & Health Sciences Center at Frostburg State University. At 23’ wide by an undulating 6’ high, the abstract design features Maryland’s dynamic geology, geography – and more! This public art commission was through Maryland State Arts Council.

The finished mosaic mural is an elegant addition to the contemporary building.
For community engagement, we asked FSU’s geology students to go fossil-hunting for us. We included many of their finds.
The FSU mascot is a bobcat. We made the mosaic hyper site-specific by having bobcat prints walk across ceramic tile sections.
Hand-made ceramic tile circles denote seeds.
Colored blue agates and custom-cut blue tile denote water.
Hidden objects inspire and add a fun seek-and-find element.
Vertically cut glass mimic trees and the lush Appalachian hills.
Underway: Episcopal Church, Virginia
We’re getting ready to install our largest commission (How to commission us) ever: A mural spanning two walls for historic Old Donation Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach. Watch for completed photos of this deeply meaningful work in our fall e-newsletter.
The mosaic will include a powerful descending “fire” dove and a soaring white dove. Each are meticulously made with SICIS Italian glass. We included a few gold-leaf tiles from a previous worship project with Central Lutheran Church.
Grand Opening: Jackson Wyoming
Our spring newsletter featured our new public art mural at the Teton County/Jackson Recreation Center in Jackson, Wyoming. We’re happy to report the mural’s name is officially, "Making Tracks."
The majestic tile, glass and mirror mosaic (40' w x 11' h ) greets visitors at the Center’s main entrance.
Art Consultants, Designers & Space Sprucer-Uppers
JUST SOLD: “Minnehaha Falls,” 16” x 13”. The mosaic is made from deconstructed and upcycled wood, including Ikea furniture. Check out more available work.
